How Rescheduling and Cancellations Work
Understand what happens when a prospect reschedules or cancels a booked call.
Rescheduling and cancellations
Prospect-initiated reschedule
Prospects can reschedule using the link in their confirmation email. The original event is removed and a new event is created at the new time — both parties receive updated confirmations.
Prospect-initiated cancellation
If a prospect cancels, the event is removed, your Clients.ai agent is notified and may trigger a follow-up, and the lead status in your CRM is updated.
Host-initiated cancellation
You can cancel or reschedule from your Google Calendar directly. punctual.AI detects the change and notifies the prospect automatically.
No-shows
If a prospect doesn't join a confirmed call, punctual.AI detects the no-show and triggers your agent to re-engage. See No-Show Recovery for details.
